Follow the Instructions

Now you have a well planned path, it's time to actually do a lab run. Every time you enter a room, the compass overlay will show the locations of doors and loots together with some text instructions.

Regular Rooms

In regular rooms the compass shows something like this:

It might seem a little bit complex at first sight, so let's break it down to see what it means:

The display consists of 3 parts:

  1. Doors (big dots on the edge, marked by the red box): These are the direction of doors in this room. The door you should head towards is colored green, while other doors colored gray.
In this example you should run northeast and try to find a door in that direction.

  2. Loot types (icons in the center, marked by the green box): In this example the room contains Argus, together with either a Labyrinth Trove or a Curious Lockbox.

  3. Loot locations (small white dots, marked by the yellow boxes): Each room has up to two fixed locations to spawn loots. If there are exactly two loots in the room, they'll take both locations but can randomly switch places with each other. If there is only one loot in the room, it randomly takes one of the two locations and the other location will be empty.
In this example, search the east and west part of the room and you'll find both of the loots.

Aspirant's Trials

In the first two Aspirant's Trials, the text instruction will tell you the mechanics of this section and a hint to get the extra treasure key.

For Idols or Charge Disruptors, a yellow timer icon appears before the text:

When you see this icon, don't touch anything before the mechanics complete (3 idols activated / 10 charges) which is around 20 seconds of waiting. Proceed to kill Izaro after that.

For other mechanics, a white swords icon appears before the text:

When you see this icon, take down Izaro right after he emerges. Be careful not to kill anything else.
