Import a Map from POELab

Important: make sure you have a map loaded before you OPEN the door of a lab!

LabCompass does nothing on its own without a map loaded. Luckily, POELab does all the hard work and publishes the maps every day after lab resets. It's recommended to bookmark that site for easy access.

Alternatively, click the little arrow to the right of the compass overlay to open the planner window:

You will see a mostly empty window. Click Get Maps:

This will redirect you to www.poelab.com. From here, choose your lab difficulty:

You can find a link for LabCompass under the image. Click it to download the map to your PC:

Now open the planner window again and click Import Maps:

Choose the file you just downloaded. The map is now loaded into LabCompass for you to use:

Note that the shortest path is automatically calculated for you. You can now hop straight into the lab if this is your desired path. Otherwise, let's move on to customize the path.
