CyTube Plus has an additional box for advanced layout settings, instead of limited possibilities in "User Preferences" modal window:

  • "Click to configure" button to display modal window with advanced layout configuration (see below)
  • "Fluid" and "Minimized" checkboxes for fluid or minimized layout
  • Optional "Display mode" selector with 5 player/chat modes: synchtube - normal-sized player and chat, cinema - big player and a hidden chat, chatroom - hidden player and a big chat, silent - hidden player and a big chat but without playing media in the background, and radio - player and chat both hidden
  • Channel themes selector
  • Checkboxes for temporary hiding layout elements: MOTD, announcements, title, playlist, and header with footer
  • Optional checkboxes for chat embedded media - images, videos, and checkbox for autoplay
  • Optional buttons for quick /clear and /afk commands, and YouTube volume control

Configurable layout elements

User can set advanced layout configuration by clicking "Click to configure" button. Currently 9 options are available:

  • Player location (left, right, or center)
  • Userlist location (left or right side of the chat)
  • Queue location (left, right, or center)
  • Queue column size (wide or narrow)
  • Player & chat location (above or below playlist)
  • MOTD & announcements (channel top or bottom)
  • Top layout image (one of the 7 defined images, no image, or custom image)
  • Header menu (fixed or detached)
  • Custom CSS (no custom CSS, or user defined code)

In addition, user can immediately set 2 pre-defined configurations, by clicking following buttons:

  • "Default" - layout will be reset to default CyTube Plus channel settings
  • "Vertical" - layout elements will be displayed in one column

Additional options of layout settings

  • Clicking "Layout" button you can hide or show all layout configuration box. This option will be default after next channel loading.
  • Clicking "Fluid" checkbox" you can toggle between compact and fluid layout. Selected option also will be default after next channel loading.
