  • The move to python 3 was highlighted to the instrument scientists, and they were told that their scripts will need to be migrated.

  • When discussing ticket 4287, an instrument scientist said they were filling in the risk assessments to perform tests on the rotating sample changers to test the new functionality.

  • When demonstrating the new warning message in the scripting perspective (ticket 5084), a concern was raised that more warning messages could lead to error fatigue in the users. They requested that an indication of the multiple consoles also be displayed in the toolbar of the scripting window when multiple windows are open. See Ticket.

  • Ticket 5491 regarding alerts on blocks. A scientist asked if there was a way of removing emails/phone numbers from the alerts. They were shown that g.alerts.setsms([]) overwrote the whole list rather than appending to it

  • Remote working: The scientists weren't aware of the options available to them for remote working. We should make sure that they have all the information required and have a separate discussion.
