1. Ingrid will share work from this summer on adding CUPiD to CESM workflow
2. Brief key metrics updates & collaborative work time

Notes

• Ingrid has a branch of ccs_config_cesm that let's users specify --workflow cupid with create_newcase

  • Open PR (will need to update CESM to include CUPiD as well)
  • Eventually roll into default workflow so --workflow argument isn't necessary (future RUN_CUPID_ANALYSIS in env_run.xml, akin to DOUT_S)
  • From Q & A: will introduce several additional XML variables, maybe in env_cupid.xml?

• Discussion: Key metrics

  • PR #118 came in, great starting point for adding more key metrics
  • Goal is to present handful of metrics at a CESM Project meeting in late August
  • Can Jupyterbook hide input cells and just share plots?
  • Documentation on running ILAMB through CUPiD is sparse, but there is an example (run test_run.sh) and some instructions in #109
  • Question arose about hiding input cells in Jupyter Book -- there is an open issue addressing this (and it looks straight-forward to implement)
