• Update for Holoscan MGX layer and dGPU.
  • Changed to be more inline with meta-tegra, reused existing recipes from meta-tegra
  • Have a handful of changes in a fork of meta-tegra which need to be upstreamed.
• Python binding for CUDA recipes in meta-tegra-community
  • Will push a PR soon for triton
  • Update for Jetpack 5.1, secureboot for Orin
• Still no update on the release date for Jetpack 5.1
• FOSDEM will be in person in Feb, Openembedded will have a room. Talks open in Brussels in Feb. See https://pretalx.com/openembedded-workshop-2023/cfp
• Matt to discuss work done recently and new issues found
  • Haven’t found solutions to most of the outstanding Jetpack 5 issues.
  • ALSA sound support through displayport using HDA audio isn’t working on Orin. Pulseaudio works OK.
  • Can reproduce by running sintel test to play video with sound in demo image. Will open a new issue to track.
  • Don’t see this problem on stock L4T, however they are using Pulseaudio.
  • Weren’t flashing Orin correctly. Were hard-coding boardid and fab, other things we typically find during flashing. Did comparison between flash script, fixed issues. Now will read this out of the EEPROM and should flash properly on Orin.
  • New version in OE core master, upgraded to weston 11. Patches provided for 10.2 Not sure if we need EGL stream support for weston
  • For now using 10.2 weston recipe instead of weston 11 in master. Will need to figure out how to move to weston 11 eventually.
  • Drawing speed for Orin on X11 if very slow, laggy
    • Not sure if this is an issue with stock L4T.
