Capturing Station Assembly

  • First of all, place each Intel Realsense Device to its corresponding tripod (just like a digital camera), by screwing the Device on the tripod's base.

  • Intel NUCs include a vesa 75/100 base mount. You should screw the vesa mount on the Bracket Mount. In order to do this you will need 4 nuts of the same diameter as the screws (you can use the screws that come with the NUCs), so you can lock the vesa mount on the Bracket Mount (red). Then mount the Bracket Mount on the tripod's main column with the help of the allen screws that come with the bracket mount. Finally, place the NUC on the vesa mount with the help of the longer screws (included in the NUC package),and then slide the NUC on the screw channels (yellow).

  • Next, connect each Realsense Device with its corresponding NUC, via the USB 3.0 cable, which is provided with the RealSense sensors.

  • Then, connect each NUC to the Network Switch, with network (CAT5e) cables.

  • Repeat the steps above for any additional Realsense device.

  • Finally, connect the Network Switch and the Workstation - PC with another network cable.

The Capturing Station's setup is complete. (Note: The parts for assembling the Hardware Syncing Cables are here.)
