This section describes known issues that may occur while the system is running.

  1. A single (or more) device(s) connected to the mini-PC(s) does not appear on the Connection Manager Widget or the Available Devices Widget.

Hit the "Refresh All" Button. This will re-initialize the Remote Eye application on each mini-PC. If the problem persists, make sure that device is connected on a mini-PC, or unplug the device from the USB port of the mini-PC and connect it to another one. In addition:

  • First of check if any physical connection is hanging. Specifically, ensure that the devices are connected to the Intel NUCs, and that the Intel NUCs and the workstation PC are connected to the Network Switch.
  • If every connection is ok, you should check if each Intel NUC's power management options are set as described here.
  • If the power options are set correctly, then you should connect the Intel RealSense device(s) to a different USB 3.0 port.
  • Finally, if the steps above didn't resolve the issue, you should restart the Intel NUC(s).
  1. A device appears on the Connection Manager Widget but does not connect (Stream does not appear on its corresponding viewport)

Select the problematic device on the Connection Manager (the devices that are connected correctly must not be selected) and Hit the "Refresh" Button. Then hit the "Connect" Button. If the problem persists try to unplug/plug to different USB port the problematic device. If the problem still persists, there is a chance that your Network Switch cannot handle the bandwidth.
