2. Running RSR Up

When the app has been installed, it is ready to be launched.

  • Placing an icon on the home screen - This will make starting the app during field work easier. Tap the "Applications" icon on the home screen (looks like an array of little squares). Press and hold the Akvo RSR Mobile app icon until the phone buzzes. You can then drag it to a free spot on the home screen.

  • Make sure you are connected to the Internet, either through Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.

  • Launching the app - Just tap the Akvo RSR icon to launch the application.

  • When opened, you first see the sign-in page:

  • Sign in. To proceed, you must enter the username and password for your RSR account. If you don't have one, start by using a browser to go to http://rsr.akvo.org. One way to do this on a device is to tap the "About" link and then the "Powered by akvo.org" button.
