The ISBN-Agentur für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Agency for Book Market Standards) is the ISBN agency for the Federal Republic of Germany and, in cooperation with mEDRA (multilingual European DOI Registration Agency), the DOI agency for the German-speaking region.

ISBN-Agentur für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland is run by MVB GmbH, the central business dealing with book-related metadata dissemination in Germany. Other services offered by MVB GmbH include the Verzeichnis Lieferbarer Bücher (VLB, aka. Directory of Deliverable Books), and Metabooks, a paid-for metadata management platform.
