Known Issues #618
Comments
Removed 4.0.3-specific issues as they're fixed in 4.0.4 |
Added #674 |
Fixed in 4.0.5: - The "One or more of your enabled plugins do not yet have support for Python 3.x. ..." popup text might not be translated. This is fixed in code soon to be in develop. |
Added #671 reference. |
The following is fixed in 4.1.0. #671 - Fleet Carriers & Damaged Stations can cause |
Removed: #736 - Application fails to start on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 (probably locale related?). Should be fixed in 4.1.1 as 4.1.1 is confirmed to fix it. |
Added mention of #750, application scaling acting weird on some Linux setups. Added blank line between each entry. |
Added: #804 - Update from 3.4.3.0/3.43 doesn't work. Program crashes out when it should be showing the changelog. |
Document that #678 is being triggered for everyone due to EDSM downtime, and 4.1.6-rc3 addresses this. |
This has now been addressed by reducing the appcast file's changelog to just the most recent version for each OS. Strangely this issue wasn't actually still in the OP here .... |
Added: #868 - The Frontier CAPI |
Added: #906 - Keyboard shortcut not available on macOS (Catalina and later). |
The following was taken out of the list, as we've had no fresh reports of this since 4.1.6 was released: #678 - Application sometimes hangs during shutdown, leaving a 'zombie' process. Related to this, during EDSM downtime your EDMarketConnector.exe process will always hang on shutdown if you have the EDSM plugin enabled. Pre-Release 4.1.6-rc3 addresses this, and the changes there-in might have solved this problem for good. |

A rewrite of plugins/inara.py after this issue was opened fixed this, way back in August 2020. |
HabZone was written by Marginal, he's gone from the game. The plugin is now moot because you'd need to have scanned planets to know their distance from arrival in order for it to work. No-one has reported similar with other plugins. Closing. |
Added: #1018 - Odyssey: Pressing 'Update' after jumping to a new system causes 'Where are you!?' |
Added a reference to the Wiki Troubleshooting page. |
Removed a number of outdated issues from the list. |
Before you post a new issue it's best to use the search, but in addition to that, here's a list of some of the known issues:
#583 - Frontier Auth window/tab might be opened twice for a new commander.
#478 - Can't resize window if using Dark theme.
5.0.0 L3-37 plugin issue WaferMouse/L3-37#5 - Ensure you're using at least v110.
5.0.0 and later do not work on Windows 7
