OCDX

Open Community Data Exchange. A community that supports an open standard for describing data about online communities, as well as the support tools and workflow patterns for researchers and data providers to share their datasets with the wider community.

Manifest

A metadata file containing information describing the contents of datasets and their associated SNC files. Also creates and maintains these associations.

Dataset

Sets of data regarding the study of online behavior.

SNC

A group of files consisting of scripts, notebooks, and config files. Associated to one or more datasets via a manifest file.

PHP

PHP Hypertext Preprocessor. A server-side scripting language.

FTP

File Transfer Protocol. A standard network protocol to transfer files between client and server.
