Dimensional Flux Crystals are newly discovered, exotic materials which are imbued with the energy of the dimension they came from. When dissolved into a potion and consumed, the drinker becomes temporarily like a ghost, unable to be harmed by the world nor able to interact with it. The potion's duration can be extended significantly with redstone.
The crystals can also be used to freeze an item in time, when combined with snowballs. Timefrozen food will not spoil, while timefrozen clocks will freeze in place. In general, any object which is timefrozen will do nothing, and cannot be interacted with nor crafted with, except to craft the object back into its original, temporal form. Almost any item can be timefrozen. Keep in mind that Dimensional Flux Crystals used for timefreezing are destroyed. [for more info, look up "timefrozen" in JEI]
Dimensional Flux Crystals can also be used to craft the [REDACTED], an advanced device for prolonged shapeshifting.
