Keybinding Primer

In order to play Hardcore Alchemy, you must know how to look up keybindings for different mods, and change your keybindings as needed. You can find keybindings for mods in the same place as keybindings for Vanilla Minecraft (Game menu > Options > Controls).

Hardcore Alchemy has a lot of mods. Each mod adds their own keybindings, and sometimes these keybindings conflict with each other. When a mod keybinding conflicts, it may not work correctly. The solution is to change the keybindings so they are not bound to the same key. You may find Keyboard Wizard useful for dealing with conflicts. The keybinding for Open Keyboard Wizard is in the Miscellaneous section of the Controls menu.

This modpack does not include keybinding settings. All the keybindings are the defaults provided by the mods, including any conflicts which may result from the defaults. The hope is that this is more convenient, as most people playing Hardcore Alchemy are likely experienced modded Minecraft players. Nevertheless, feedback on this decision is welcome.
