review actions from the previous meeting Franziska and Gao presented on the progress of units table with a discussion about 'degrees true' not being a real unit, but it's used by other communities so we'll see if they disagree with the proposal. It's ready for a branch. The team briefly reviewed the new terms for pollen proposed by external experts and Rainer will continue with engagement with external experts to finalize reviews.

KPIs Franziska introduced how TT-WISMD has developed KPIs for WIS Metadata and the initial categories that can be evaluated. Jorg stressed that the KPIs are for evaluating a WIGOS Metadata record against the WIGOS schema and will be used to assess the record in OSCAR/Surface. There was a question about where the KPIs will be stored. Jorg talked about various approaches for displaying the quality in OSCAR, but nothing is developed yet. Anna asked if the KPIs are categorized by use cases or motivations for each evaluation, e.g. discovery, understanding, etc. Responses: These should be included in the rationale(s). The primary use cases could be discovery, completeness, understanding. Enrico stressed that use cases should be identified beyond just evaluating the standard elements. All are invited to propose ideas and thoughts to evolve the KPIs. Lara asked if there will be a tool to evaluate the KPIs programmatically. Champika asked how the KPIs will handle requirements for different types of data where the requirement doesn't make any sense (such as Ocean data).
