4/01/2020:

  • 100+ pages of implementation guidance, educational content and example resources and documentation
  • Open Source sample Generator (contributed by Microsoft)
  • Two FHIR Servers deployed with test data (HAPI on FHIR and Microsoft’s FHIR Server)
  • 22 Measures defined for CDC NHSN and FEMA Reporting

3/29/2020:

  1. Over the weekend the build was reworked to address changes from Group to MeasureReport. That work is complete, now we are going back to investigate current CI Build Issues.
  2. Keith participated in the DataVant Pandemic Response Hackathon this weekend. Due to technical issues, we did not finish a submission, but do have a report
  3. A PDF of the first draft and the sunday build are also available. These are very rough, but do let you access the content on an e-Reader.

3/27/2020:

  1. Gino, Carl, and Josh (Microsoft team) has populated two servers with sample data for both Group and MeaureReport approaches. https://covid19-under-fhir.smilecdr.com/baseR4 and http://prototype-erp-fhir.azurewebsites.net/

3/26/2020:

  1. Build has been restructured to support community participation.
  2. FHIR Build not working just yet, problems on Sushi side, bugs reported on obeys and template in ig.ini
  3. HL7 PA PSS has passed it's first hurdle, committee approval.
  4. Gino Canessa has created resource example creation tool and samples with Group and MeasureReport, and Carl Anderston has created a tool for loading these resources into a FHIR server https://github.com/microsoft-healthcare-madison/learning-spike-erp/
  5. We have user stories and a project board
  6. John Moehrke has agreed to take ownership of Security Concerns section.
  7. Still looking to automate comments to issues while project is under development.

3/25/2020: Presently we are working on getting out a new build that is disconnected from our automation process so that others can readily contribute. I (Keith) have some core content building utilities that aren't in the repo because I haven't even documented how to run them ... and I'm mostly done with them for now for this guide.

Graham Grieve and Josh Mandel have already done some work to get the IG Build tool to run Sushi, once that's all set we can let the IG Builder go to work on Sushi files.

I'm looking at trying to add an automatic commenting feature to the content.
