  • Pyro
    • "Suppressive Fire"

      • Reduced self-knockback from 600 -> 450 (same as Scorch)
        • Suppressive Fire fires faster than Scorch (10 shots/s vs 6.25 shots/s), so this ends up being higher.

      600 was the number from an old build of Pyro where "Suppressive Fire" was just Scorch but with more damage, and it didn't factor in Scorch's faster fire rate.

    • Renamed sound events to be different from Official SS2 to prevent conflicts.

    Let me know if anything stopped working due to this change!

  • Adjusted hurtbox size/orientation on all survivors to better match their models and be closer to Vanilla.
  • Made Chirr's ragdoll slightly less buggy.
  • Fixed Cyborg Shock Core implosion failing to trigger if an enemy collides with the projectile during the delay before the explosion.

      • Increased recharge time from 6s -> 8s
      • Increased recharge delay from 0.5s -> 1s

      • Increased toss distance (projectile speed increased from 50 -> 60)
    • Shock Core

      • Moved to Special slot.
      • Now applies self-knockback when fired.
      • Increased damage from 300%/1200% -> 800%/1600%
      • Increased detonation radius from 14m -> 20m
      • Explosion now sucks enemies inwards.

      This was way overshadowed by Defense Matrix in the Secondary slot. In the Special slot, it's a higher-risk, higher-reward alternative to Overheat Redress.

  • Pyro

      • Lowered proc coefficient from 1.0 -> 0.7 to match the primary.
    • Plan B

      • Increased minimum heat requirement from 33% -> 40%
      • Increased heat consumption rate by 20%

0.9.0 - Internal Restructuring and Official SS2 Compatibility

  • Changed plugin file structure.

    • AssetBundle and Soundbanks are no longer embedded in the DLL, reducing RAM usage.
      • This is extra important since this is a big mod, so all the assets in the mod were getting duplicated in memory and eating up RAM before this.
  • Mod is now compatible with Official SS2 (needs testing)

    • All references to Starstorm2 internally have been changed to Starstorm2Unofficial
    • Added config for disabling survivors.
    • Added config for disabling Commando/MUL-T Grandmastery skins.

    Be sure to go through the config of both mods to enable/disable features that are duplicated.

  • Fixed skill choices not being saved when closing the game.

  • Nemmando

    • Decisive Strike now gives 200 armor while slashing.

      This was in the original build, but I ended up removing to see how it would play. Not really sure how to feel about it.

  • Cyborg

    • Added unused lore.

    • Shock Core

      • No longer prematurely detonates when near enemies.
      • Shield bar no longer shows when this is equipped.

      Might buff and move to the Special slot in a future update, or add this functionality to the existing Special. Defense Matrix overshadows anything that could go in the secondary slot.

    • Recall

      • Lowered damage from 1200% -> 800%
  • Pyro

    • Added unused lore.
    • Suppressive Fire
      • Description now lists DPS instead of per-shot damage.

0.8.0 - Pyro

      • Using a really old model/anims, will look crispy.

      • Admittedly closer to Pyro TF2 than Pyro Starstorm.

      • Heat costs are lowered with stocks, by a factor of 1 / (0.5 + 0.5 x stocks)

      • Primary: Scorch

        • Fire a low damage flamethrower that builds heat. Ignites at high heat.
        • 0.7 proc coefficient
        • Can be fired downwards to slow your fall.
      • Secondary: "Suppressive Fire"

        • Rapidly consume heat to fire a high damage stream of short-range flame projectiles.
        • Does not penetrate enemies, but has a small blast radius.
        • 1.0 proc coefficient
        • No cooldown.
        • Can be fired downwards to slow your fall.
      • Alt Secondary: Return to Sender

        • Consume 25% heat to airblast, pushing away enemies and reflecting projectiles.
          • Reflected projectiles deal 1000% damage, like Enforcer.
        • Applies self-knockback.
        • No cooldown.
      • Utility: Plan B

        • Consume 33% heat to fly.
        • Hold down the button to consume more heat to fly further.
        • 4s cooldown.
      • Special: Blaze Flare

        • Consume all heat to fire a flare that explodes repeatedly up to 8 times.
          • Number of explosions increases with heat consumed.
        • 7s cooldown.
        • Scepter increases explosion radius by 50% and increases max explosions to 16.
    • Cyborg

      • Now shows the default crosshair while sprinting so that you can always see your shield bar.
    • Nemesis Invasion

      • Boss damage increased from 2 -> 3
