Build Notes

The Moonlit Warlock Patron's signature feature is becoming invisible when in darkness, and later, in dim light as well. This is a big defensive benefit for any character, but is a potent offensive benefit as well for a build that does a lot of damage via attack rolls, and especially one that takes the Power Attack feat to trade accuracy for damage: raising your baseline chance to hit both reduces the impact of the accuracy penalty (because hit chance is a nonlinear function of attack bonus when you have advantage) and increases the benefit from the damage boost (since you do that damage more often). Eldritch Smite enhances the round 1 nova capability of the build, and with frequent advantage, there's an increased chance of a critical hit to double smite dice.

After getting the enhanced version of invisibility-in-darkness at Warlock 6, a dip into Fighter gives us the Archery fighting style to help make our Power Attack shots more often, shield proficiency, which lets us swap back and forth between bow and shield to have +2 AC around half the time between turns, and action surge, which we will typically want to use on round 1 for nova damage.

A single Rogue level gives a small damage boost of 1d6 per turn, but more importantly, expertise in Stealth, to help maintain invisibility for the second attack, and then again between turns.

Back to Warlock to round out the build, Greater Invisibility gives us a way to attack from invisible even in shadowless conditions, and Mind Twist provides a spammable ally-safe AoE option with a nice debuff effect, should we find ourselves with enemies around us. We relearn Agonizing and Repelling Blast as our Eldritch Blast scales to three beams, just in case there's a situation where we can't get advantage and value the forced movement more than the additional damage our bow provides, though in most situations we'll still be using archery.
