  • Sprint #_ Retrospective:
    • members in attendance: selfie proof of meeting

      • Oliver
      • Rafael
      • Trevor
      • [a] Henry (was sick)
    • what worked well

      • Rafael chose a game framework to develop in and exported a sample that runs in the browser. We were able to close the "Hello World in Game Engine of Choice", however, the original issue (getting the game to run in the browser) is still open.
        • Rafael will need to become familiar with flask to add the game to the correct spot in the html.
      • Trevor made significant progress on back-end wiring including getting Qiskit integrated into the server, created a database and setup basic functionality on the flask server (models and controllers for player data).
      • Henry finished website design.
    • what didn't work

      • Oliver struggled to connect frontend launch page and backend server. Several significant react errors. However, most of the problems were solved. This issue may be taken by Trevor since he is more familiar with react.
    • self assessment on progress

      • where are you in relation to progress towards product and milestones?
        • We are in the beginning stages of having a minimal product. We are close to have our equivalent of a "Hello World" website and server. We are in the process of creating and designing the game itself.
      • lay out each of the following weeks till end of term with brief goals for each
        • current week: Build basic Tetris game. Finish building out server functionality. Finish designing game and elaborating on game concepts.
        • week 8: Build out basic quantum gameplay functions. Basic web graphics incorporated.
        • week 9: Fully developed website graphics. Buildout quantum function graphics and gameplay for Tetris game
        • week 10: Additional content (how to play, resources) created. Game runs in browser with at least one quantum mechanic.
    • briefly summarize any other topics/discussions

      • We will need to start moving quickly to building out the game itself. Most of the work done so far has prepared the environment for hosting the game.
      • While we came up with a create idea to demonstrate superposition, we still need to fully design the game mechanic for entanglement.
