Standup Notes 2018 08 14
Participants (alphabetical): Conor, Erik, Harris, Jen, Kevin, Kushal, Mike, Mickael
Note:
- Added workstation packaging work to current sprint per discussion w/ Jen and Mickael.
Board review:
- Propose to add "Ready for review". Level of fragmentation of work could make it useful. Downside is more moving across the board, bigger board to scan
Yesterday: Started to review instance_information.json PR
Today: Get that in, mostly non-SD work, a bit on packaging logic
Blockers: Hardware QA - waiting for Freddy
Yesterday: Mostly hiring work.
Today: Starting on UX wiki migration to GitHub; more hiring fun and non-SD work.
Blockers: None
Observer mode, donations work
Yesterday: Last DB migration - needed for reply refactor
Today: ^ Get that ready for review
Blockers: None
Yesterday: Ran through Mike's instance_information.json PR, testing against molecule upgrade scenario and against old Vagrant staging setup. Works great, some failing tests but unrelated. Maybe should set default sleep time to a value higher than 10 seconds, but that should be less of a problem when we replace sleeps. Otherwise at least 30 seconds.
Today: Minor support tasks, remote hardware testing follow-up. Will check out co-working space.
Blockers: None
Yesterday:
Today: Was trying out Jen's WIP PR. Almost finished docs PR, will push it tomorrow.
Blockers: None
Yesterday: This morning, focus on trying to shake out why functional testing is causing ancillary test failures.
Today: ^^
Blockers: None
Yesterday: Picked up where I left off on metapackage. What I would suggest is we scope it to build the scaffolding to create the Debian packages, creation of -grsec package. Make sure that logic follows Debian guidelines.
Today:
Blockers:
- Jen: I would not make changes on the SDK side until my branch is merged. What happened with time.sleeps, did that get addressed?
- Kushal: I ran the tests twice and they failed with Tor error. Will update the ticket
