  • went through logging, PRs are into client and export for review
  • put PR up for preventing duplicate file downloads for the beta. I also put up a PR with a generic approach for preventing duplicate actions of any type but the change is a bit larger so I tossed it into the post-beta milestone but if you have Thoughts feel free to comment.
  • Started reviewing 967, though we have a few PRs all touching similar logic so... lots of rebasing, the usual will be happening. If you want to merge someone's PR and they are not around, I think we should rebase it for them (unless it's particularly tricky to do the rebase and you think the author should do the rebase for a that reason).

Today:

  • Friday I started on ensuring that the source pending deletion status resets if the deletion fails, just adding tests and then will put that ready for review
  • I am going to merge/review whatever else is pending
  • Starting on two more checks on the pre-release list: double checking reproducibility of package builds, RPC policy review

    • Created PR#976 (adjust logout clickable area) to fix #285.
    • Created PR#977 (resize the error status bar to the error message width) to fix #932.
    • Investigated issue #600 (sign-in clickable in reply box), only to find Qt makes it impossible to fulfil -- see comments therein.
    • Created PR#978 (make login dialog modal) to fix #971.
    • Continuing to work on #944 (blocked UI on start) to address Ali's feedback. See my comment therein for what I'm doing. Currently in rebase hell.
