You can now read PDF files in UBA. This page gives you some tips reading PDF with UBA.

Open a PDF File via File Dialog

This button on "Focus menu layout" opens a file dialog on PDF files.

Open a PDF File via Master Control

Imported PDF files are stored in directory marvelData/pdf. The left column of Master Control "Library 2" tab list all the imported pdf files.

Context menu

UBA context menu makes a huge difference between opening PDF with UBA and with third-party PDF software.

With context menu, you can select text from pdf and search bibles, access lots of features, like text-to-speech, translations, bible dictionaries / encyclopedia, topical studies, interlinear data, and lots of other bible resources.

There are more than we can list here, below is just a few selective examples:

Example 1 - Opening bible references in pdf files

1. Select a block of text in pdf, which contains bible references

2. Right click and select "Open Verses in > Bible Window"

Example 2 - Select a word and open a topical study about it

1. Select a word, "salvation" in this example

2. Right-click and select "Bible Resources > Topics > TCR [Thomson Chain Reference]"

Example 3 - Select the current page number and save in history

1. Highlight the current page number from page number field at the top

2. Right-click and select "plugins > Save PDF Page History"

3. You can later ooen the same PDF and same page from history record.
