Mods Creation

This is a little guide that shows how to use the gModsCreator program, needed to create the .grdsadmod files.

Create Codriver

First of all you have to create the new codriver directly in your steam installation folder: for example we created the Brennan codriver: so we have in Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\gRally\Data\Codrivers the Brennan folder and ingame the working Brennan Codriver.

Next step is open gModsCreator, located in Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\gRally:

1. Open the program;
2. File->New package and choose the folder where store the .grspec file (this is a file to be reopen once to create a new version of the mod): in the example store the file in documents\brennan.grspec;
3. In the next window you should select the mod folder: as said before: Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\gRally\Data\Codrivers\Brennan;
4. In this page you need to choose (2) the mods type (cars/stages/codrivers), name (1) and description (3), the url to upload (if you have a website, you can upload the mod files with the RELEASES file that contains the infos), the version (5) of the mod and the author (6);
5. click File->Create release and choose the folder where put the .grmod files (one folder for each mod, and the same folder for furhter versions);
6. the mod is done: ;
7. If you go on the selected folder you see 2 files (first time): brennan-0.1.0.grMod and RELEASES: if you have a website like said before, upload these 2 files and share the link above, otherwise share the .grmod file!
