- Should I use the OGC API-Features or the OGC API-EDR standard?
Answer: Experimentation at a Code Sprint in May 2022 demonstrated the ability to provide observations via EDR queries by way of .../items, a building block from OGC API - Features. While this capability can be used via OGC API - Features, EDR adds value in that an EDR collection can provide .../locations as well as .../items, the former being associated established monitoring stations. This relationship seems more natural in EDR compared to having distinct collections and having some sort of hypermedia association between them.
