Thirty Years of Farming

Thirty years a farmer
Start off with a tiny corner
Sowing seeds and daily water
Some plants grew
Some plants wilt
The wilt and the weed I threw
All by discipline and persistence
Weather can be calamity or assistance
Demanding all my tenacity
Challenging my nervous capacity
Now a garden of creature comforts
It is worth all my efforts
